A Crisis Approaching

I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country; corporations have been enthroned, an era of corruption in High Places will follow, and the Money Power of the Country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the People, until the wealth is aggregated in a few hands, and the Republic is destroyed. I feel at this moment more anxiety for the safety of my country than ever before, even in the midst of war.

Abraham Lincoln was reported to have said this, but may in fact be made up. Regardless, it’s a quote that resonates in today’s atmosphere. It highlights the corruption that we can see today running rampant in Washington; on both sides of the aisle.

The Left vs. Right, Liberal vs. Conservative, Democrat vs. Republican paradigms do nothing more then set us against one another, giving the oligarchical powers behind the scenes  the perfect opportunity to destroy our sovereignty.

They create class envy.

They perpetuate racism on both sides of the argument.

They sit back and laugh as we fight amongst each other.

How do we fix it? Revolution? Out with old?

I don’t know. What I do know is if people went back to basics, read G-d’s Word and how to live one’s life – things would probably be a lot better.

The problem with that is people tend to want to interpret what they read to fit their comfort level. They introduce tolerance where G-d said not to tolerate. They make excuses as to why they think it’s okay and G-d would understand.

If G-d was small enough to understand and concede to our interpretations, then He would not be a god with following. He would not be the G-d in the Bible. But in saying this it creates divisiveness amongst us. We’re back to the issues above. You believe it to be one way, I believe it to be another. We continue to fight. They continue to use it against us.

How do we fix it? Can we?
