About Sal Baldovinos

Mayhem & Chaos Productions started as a freelance web design and development company founded by cousins Sal Baldovinos & Joshua Jimenez. We specialize in small to mid- sized companies who are looking to revamp their online presence.

Since it’s inception, Sal has become the primary element of Mayhem & Chaos, though collaborates with Joshua constantly.

Bio

IMG_6099Sal Baldovinos started out wanting to be the next Steven Spielberg. During his eight-year tour in the US Army Reserves, Sal became more interested in the online world and he then went on to The Art Institute of Houston. There his passion was refocused on a new exciting medium of Interactive Media Design. Sal graduated from from The Art Institue of Houston in 2004 and jumped right into the workforce.

Since then, Sal has moved his way from designer/developer to Social Media Evangelist and local event coordinator to now Project Manager at one of Houston’s largest B2B Internet Marketing Firms.

In addition to his roles at his day job, Sal also serves as Chair for Interactive Strategies on the Houston Interactive Marketing Association (HiMA) board, sits on the Advisory Board for Knowbility’s Accessible Internet Rally (AIR) Houston program and is an organizer for a local meet-up group, Refresh Houston.

Speaking Opportunities

Along with organizing various industry events like Refresh Houston and Interactive Strategies, Sal also enjoys speaking on various subjects like Social Media, Leadership and various other themes. As a graduate of The Art Institute of Houston, he has also spoken to current students about the “real world” expectations for web developers coming in to the workforce.
