We did it. The TopSpot team participated in the fourth annual AIR Houston Competition this past weekend. It was sponsored by Knowbility.org at the UH main campus. We did a lot of the grunt work beforehand just to make sure we did not go in there with a blank slate.
Zaki has some pictures that you can check out. Overall it was a really fun experience. I was unable to stay for the whole event due to a previous engagement with Studio B Photography. I was fortunate enough to get to see Ruth, our contact at Kids’ Meals Houston, before I left. She’s a very energetic woman that made me want to do this even more. We’ve even decided to volunteer our time to deliver food to Houston’s needy children.
Before I forget, Kids’ Meals is a not-for-profit organization here in Houston that caters to the children living in below the poverty line. This is a great organization that I’m proud to have my/TopSpot’s name on it.
As Zaki said “I’m looking forward to AIR Houston 2008!”
