For those of you with an Enom account trying to host other websites that were not registered through them, here is a quick walk-through on how to go about doing so.
I’ve been hosting with Enom since 2004 and have been fairly happy with them. They’ve even started Linux hosting as of this year. One day I’ll get around to switching from Windows to Linux, but that’s beside the point. If you’re with Enom, you’ve probably noticed the high price of domain registration; upwards up $30/domain. So, when I have a friend/client that needs to start from the ground up, I send them over to GoDaddy for their domain registration.
Now, if you want to host those sites, you’ve got to do some changes in both your Enom Web Hosting account and your GoDaddy domain registration account.
Setting up the host headers in Enom
Keeping in mind this is for the Windows hosting on Enom and not the Plesk control panel Linux users use; login to your Web Hosting Control Panel. Navigate to the Web Sites section and add a new domain where it says: Associate a new Domain Name. I’ve been hosting all my sites using host headers rather than having a separate hosting programs for all those domains. All you need to do for that is set up directories in the root of the hosting account for the sites you want to host. Then, in the web sites section you have to point the host headers to that directory. If you need more information on that, just leave a comment and I’ll email you more specific instructions. Now you’re pretty much done with Enom. The rest of the work is in GoDaddy.
Point the domain in GoDaddy
Once you’ve logged in to your GoDaddy account, head over to the My Domains and select the domain you want to work in. Unless you have DNS hosting through Enom, there is no need to changed the NameServers in GoDaddy (I learned that the hard way). However, you will need to go in the Total DNS Control and MX Records section. There is where you will begin associating the IP address, MX records and anything else you might need to change to point the site over to Enom hosting. All the information for your hosting can be found the “Quick Info” page of the Enom Web Hosting Control Panel.
Hope this helps anyone looking to host their websites with Enom, but don’t want to pay the $30/year registration. For the purposes of ease and consolidation, I still suggest keeping everything together in your Enom account (hosting and registration), it makes for less headaches.

@Mohamed
I would suggest pointing your registered domain from Enom to the hosting account at GoDaddy. You can do this by logging in to your Enom Central account and looking at your My Domains area. Then in the Host Records, change them to your GoDaddy account. You can find/should be able to find your GoDaddy information by logging in to that account to. Hope this helps.
