I just shot my last round in the U.S. Army. We had weapons qualification drill this past weekend in Camp Bullis, TX (near San Antonio). Despite the horrible range we had to use where 90% of us did not qualify thanks for the pop-ups not working correctly, I had a pretty good time. I decided to blog about the food though.
Many of you know that Army food is notorious for being less then favorable. We eat 3,000 calorie MRE’s (Meal Ready to Eat) for breakfast lunch and dinner, with the occasional hot meal provided by the DFAC (Dinning Facility). Well here is my breakfast that I had on Sunday. We have these new breakfast MRE’s now (thank you lowest bidder).
Enjoy…you know I did.

Oh thats what that was all about! You sent me that video a long time ago saying it was your breakfast but it made no sense at the time. You had failed to mention it was army related or provide any supporting details. You just said ‘heres my breakfast - link’ haha. Well it beats what they used to serve my unit back in 1735. We had to wallow up a rasslin varmit and skeeter his behind right there on the fiyah! I dont understand either.
